About JP Consult

JP Consult is a one-person company founded in 2006 in Cape Town South Africa and is run by Jakob Pedersen. Originally from Denmark I recently settled in South Africa as a self-employed web designer and ICT researcher. Professionally, I hold an MA degree in digital information studies and have been working with web site design and programming since 1999. I believe strongly in the opportunities of these technologies to convey and communicate information in new and exciting ways. Yet the design process is critical for actually making efficient use of these possibilities. Therefore I am a firm believer in the necesity for prioritising the user interactions as an integrated part of the design. More technically speaking then I am experienced in HTML, XHTML, XML/XSL, CSS, SQL and database supported ASP.
